The National Professional Development Center on Autism Spectrum Disorders is a multi-university center, funded through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs to promote the use of evidence-based practices for children and youth with autism spectrum disorders. AAP Launches New Audio Series on Autism
To provide parents of children with autism with guidance and support, the AAP has created a series of audio interviews with medical experts, autism researchers, and parents of children with autism. At Sound Advice on Autism parents can listen as experts answer common questions about autism. The interviews include members of the Council on Children with Disabilities (COCWD) Autism Subcommittee.
